Pros and cons of LibraryThing app for iPhone and iPad

LibraryThing app good for

I love the minimalist simplicity of this app (in combination with the full-featured website). I was looking for an app that would primarily allow me to scan, while also offering a category for books Ive read but no longer own. I also appreciate that review and sharing options are available, but not in my face. Top of my wishlist for a future iteration: support entry of tags in the app too. Greatly appreciate the free installation in the start-up month.
Love the bar-code scanning and the ability to review my catalogue while browsing book sales – no more buying books I already own! Youre the best, LT!!!
Ive been dreaming of this app for years! Now I can easily access my library on the go, very useful when shopping at my fave used book store :) The barcode scan function is great for quickly adding new books. Thank you LibraryThing! A long-time user.
Been waiting for this for years and it doesnt disappoint. Super easy to add books with barcode scan or add a new cover image using the camera.
So glad to finally have the app; works great too! Thanks LibraryThing team!!
very nice to have a LibraryThing app, at last! this is a great start for initial release; looking forward to added functionality in the future (e.g. display users tags, perhaps an ipad-specific app too).

Some bad moments

Finally an iOS app for library thing is here. And being the first version it looks great right from the start!
The app is fantastic, great to have an easy way to add items to my collections via phone with barcode scanning!
I understand the app is new and free, so I dont expect it to be perfect. However, the bar code scanning function is terrible and theres no way to sort the list of books. These are basic functions that should be the least of issues with apps like this. I would pay for this app, but only after they improve it.
I am very excited that LT finally has an app - one technical issue that needs fixing - if you type anything in to search in the "all collections" section you get "no results". Results are returned from other section just not the "all collections" section. Otherwise its looking good!
Ive been waiting a long time for my LT collection to be represented by an icon on my iPhone. This is a happy day. I can see my books, add new books, edit, and read messages. There is room to make things better, but this app is off to a lovely start.
Im a longtime LibraryThing website user, and the new app is a great way to access and add books to your collection on the go. I look forward to using it at book sales ("hmm, so I already own this book?") and to catalog more of my personal library.

Usually LibraryThing iOS app used & searched for

other, media library, and other. So, download free LibraryThing .ipa to run this nice iOS application on iPhone and iPad.
